Holmbury has selected SED 2008 for the UK launch of its new H and HQ Series of high performance flat face couplings. The most significant feature is their full compliance with ISO16028 including Amd.1:2006(E) that stipulates impulse testing to 1,000,000 cycles whilst coupled. When comparing the new couplings with their predecessors, they are superior in virtually every major parameter, such as Factor of Safety, pressure ratings and flow resistance.

HQ Series couplings are particularly suited to high pressure pulse applications such as excavator hammer circuits.

H Series are ideal for general mobile plant and industrial applications.

Initially, three sizes of each series will be available:

H10, H12 and H19 (3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1")
HQ10, HQ12 and HQ19 (3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1")

Later in the year additional sizes will be phased in to extend the range from 1/8" to 2". A new 8 page brochure for the H and HQ Series will be available from the Holmbury stand and in pdf format from the web site.
